Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree or equivalent postgraduate-level knowledge.
• Master's-level professional management and scientific knowledge or equivalent.
• Full chartered membership of the Institute of Decontamination Sciences (IDSc).
• Evidence of ongoing CPD.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across Sterile Services, Endoscopy Decontamination and Mattress Decontamination.
• Lead a 24/7 decontamination service to process instruments safely, efficiently and to high standards.
• Work with senior leaders, clinical teams and external stakeholders to set the strategic direction.
• Champion continuous improvement and develop resilient solutions to evolving clinical and operational needs.
• Strengthen quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee risk management and equipment validation.
• Inspire and develop teams.
• Optimise resources and manage budgets.
• Deliver improvements that balance quality, efficiency and value for money.
