Job summary

Scantec is seeking experienced Decommissioning Operatives to join a long-term nuclear project at AWE, Reading, with 6 months minimum duration and potential extension. The role covers decommissioning, deplanting, removal and dismantling of redundant plant, all within a highly regulated nuclear environment.

Candidates should have nuclear decommissioning experience, C2/C3 decommissioning exposure, a CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, and SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Previous nuclear decommissioning experience.
• C2/C3 decommissioning experience.
• CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport.
• NVQ Level 3 or relevant qualification.
• SC Clearance.
• Willing and able to undergo DV clearance.

Decommissioning Operatives AWE CIS

Location: AWE, Reading
Start Date: 5th October
Duration: 6 months minimum, with potential to extend
Rate: £32.00/hr CIS Local £37.00/hr CIS Travellers (50 mile radius)
Hours: Monday Thursday, 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break
Paid Hours: 38 hours per week
