Job summary

Scantec is recruiting Decommissioning Operatives for a long-term nuclear project at AWE in Reading. You will perform decommissioning and deplanting duties, remove and dismantle redundant plant, and work safely within a highly regulated environment.

Requirements include CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport, SC clearance, and willingness to undergo DV clearance. 6 months minimum with potential extension; 38 hours per week on 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu).

Qualifications

• CSCS Card or CCNSG Safety Passport.
• SC Clearance.
• DV clearance required or willing to undergo DV clearance.

• General decommissioning and deplanting duties.

Job description

Location: AWE, Reading
Start Date: 5th October
Duration: 6 months minimum, with potential to extend
Rate: £32.00/hr CIS – Local | £37.00/hr CIS – Travellers (50 mile radius)
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid break
Paid Hours: 38 hours per week
