The position requires 2+ years in engineering, nuclear decommissioning experience or related regulated industry, and strong communication with stakeholders. Willingness to travel and obtain security clearance is expected.
On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Decommissioning & Dismantling Engineer
Within the Decommissioning and Dismantling (D&D) discipline, you will participate in core D&D engineering tasks and activities, ranging from decommissioning planning, design and waste handling studies to dismantling, demolition and delicensing tasks.
The four core pillars of the D&D discipline are:
You will intervene throughout the full life cycle of decommissioning projects: Feasibility, Preliminary Design Stage, Detail Design Stage, Construction/Commissioning, On-Site Works Oversight.
You will be responsible for delivering innovative engineering solutions to decommissioning challenges both across the UK and in an international setting.

The successful candidate must, by the start of employment, have permission to work in the UK, and be willing to undergo a security vetting process. Offers of employment will be subject to relevant security clearance being granted.
