Job summary

Prosper Recruitment is partnering with a market leading contractor to recruit a Project Manager or Senior Site Manager for a decarbonisation retrofit scheme in Leeds. The role requires strong leadership of on-site teams and a proven track record in social housing retrofit, with knowledge of energy efficiency measures and decarbonisation strategies.

This permanent role starts immediately or in December. The candidate should have 5–7 years in operations leadership within the social housing sector

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in operations leadership within social housing, energy retrofit or related sustainability sectors.
• Experience delivering retrofit/refurbishment schemes is required.
• SHDF and/or ECO4 grant scheme experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project from inception to completion, promoting a positive health and safety culture.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate project strategy and design.
• Manage construction processes and on-site activity with supervision of workers, tools and materials.
• Ensure on-site safety through risk management, risk assessment and compliance with procedures.
• Build strong relationships and maintain regular communication with key contacts, reporting progress.
• Demonstrate social value awareness and work with reporting staff to capture outcomes.
