Job summary

G2 Legal Limited, a specialist debts recovery law firm in Manchester, seeks an Associate/Solicitor to manage an own caseload of debt recovery and asset-based lending matters. You will draft letters before action, advise clients on options, and progress cases to settlement or litigation.

You will work in a hybrid setup with two office days per week, and benefit from a bonus scheme and a collaborative, growing team environment. Solicitor or CILEX-qualified lawyers are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Solicitor or CILEX-qualified with experience in debt recovery or civil litigation.
• Experience handling asset-based lending or related matters is a plus.
• Strong drafting and client communication skills.

• Managing a caseload of debt recovery and asset-based lending matters

We are working with a specialist debt recovery law firm in Manchester that is continuing to grow and is looking to add an Associate/Solicitor to its team.

This is a great opportunity for a Solicitor or CILEX-qualified lawyer with experience in debt recovery, civil litigation or a related area to join a collaborative and commercially focused practice.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of asset-based lending and debt recovery matters, working with clients to progress cases efficiently and achieve successful outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of debt recovery and asset-based lending matters


• Drafting letters before action, legal correspondence and court documentation

About You

We are looking for someone who is personable, hardworking and commercially minded, with the ability to manage a structured caseload and work effectively to deadlines.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in debt recovery, civil litigation, consumer law or a related area


• Strong drafting and written communication skills


• Good organisation and time-management skills


• The ability to manage multiple matters and prioritise effectively


• Good attention to detail


• A professional and client-focused approach


• Experience using case management systems and standard office software


• A relevant legal qualification, such as Solicitor or CILEX
