Qualifications

• Investigation, negotiation and persistence are required.
• Strong communication skills and commercial judgement are essential.
• Experience in debt recovery, credit control or sales is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Following up on overdue accounts and repayments.
• Communicating with borrowers to understand reasons and negotiate repayments.
• Investigating and locating borrowers using lawful methods.
• Conducting field visits to residences or workplaces when appropriate.
• Gathering and verifying information relevant to debt recovery.
• Developing practical strategies to resolve difficult recovery cases.
• Maintaining accurate records of all recovery activities and follow-ups.
• Working with management to determine the recovery approach for different cases.
• Following up persistently until cases are resolved.
• Occasionally working outside normal office hours when necessary.
