Job summary

StepChange Debt Charity in Glasgow is seeking a Customer Service Case Manager to guide clients through the Debt Arrangement Scheme from initial advice to submission of a Debt Payment Programme. You will manage a caseload, assess financial circumstances and ensure processes are accurate, compliant and compassionate.

This hybrid role combines office collaboration with home working; an in-person Assessment Centre will be held in Glasgow, and the start date is Monday 30th November.

Qualifications

• Empathetic problem-solver with strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in client-focused environments handling complex queries.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients and assess financial circumstances using the Common Financial Statement.
• Prepare realistic proposals for creditors and ensure accurate, compliant DPP submissions.
• Maintain records in line with GDPR and DAS regulations and stay updated on relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with the team in a hybrid Glasgow office environment.
