Job summary

Bidfood UK is seeking a De-Briefer to join our Transport Department at Salisbury depot. You will ensure drivers complete daily reports, review paperwork and help with loading and vehicle checks.

Working Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 19:30, with overtime possible during busy periods. Full training will be provided and you will work in a supportive team focused on accurate processes and safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

A methodical approach and keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of warehouse, transport and customer services process and procedures preferred but not essential as training is given.
Excellent communication skills.
Be enthusiastic and able to challenge bad practices
Be pro-active and able to work under your own initiative.
The ability to be flexible and able to work a shift pattern.

Responsibilities

Ensuring that Driver Daily Report (Product Return Sheets) forms are completed accurately
Review driver paperwork to ensure correct completion, challenging anomalies
Resolution of concerns and queries in relation to incorrect/incomplete/lost paperwork
Routine vehicle spot checks for cleanliness
Checking and marshalling temperature sensitive goods (involves working in a multi-temperature environment for extended periods)
Help loading of second run journeys still at depot.
Moving pallets and cages to the correct stowage area in the depot.

About the role

Bidfood have a requirement for an De-Briefer to join the Transport Department at our Salisbury depot.

The days of work will be Monday to Friday 10am to 7.30pm (maybe some overtime required during the busier times)

Your role as De-Briefer

The De-Briefer role will be to ensure that all drivers receive a full debrief on their return to the depot with duties including:

Ensuring that Driver Daily Report (Product Return Sheets) forms are completed accurately
Review driver paperwork to ensure correct completion, challenging anomalies
Resolution of concerns and queries in relation to incorrect/incomplete/lost paperwork
Routine vehicle spot checks for cleanliness
