Jago Consultants are supporting a main car dealership in recruiting a General Manager / Dealer Principal to lead a busy site in England. You will shape performance, drive profitability and manage a team of around 60 staff, setting standards and ensuring compliance with motor industry regulations.

The role requires proven senior dealership leadership, strong financial acumen, ability to communicate at all levels, and a hands-on, flexible approach.

Qualifications

• Experience as General Manager / Dealer Principal within a main dealer
• Strong leadership & performance management skills
• Financial acumen
• Excellent communication at all levels
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Planning and organising skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach
• A Full EU Driving Licence
• Great computer literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead a site of circa 60 staff and drive performance across a busy dealership
• Direct financial performance and profitability through robust planning and execution
• Ensure adherence to motor industry legislation and franchise procedures
• Communicate effectively with staff, customers and senior stakeholders
