Job summary

Swansway is recruiting an Accounts Assistant at our Crewe dealership. You will support daily banking, purchase ledger, and month-end reporting, working under the Dealership Accountant. The role involves invoicing, supplier queries, payroll submissions, and general office duties within a busy automotive environment.

We expect at least 12 months accounts experience in a car dealership, strong organisational skills, and excellent communication. Kerridge/CDK knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• 12 months accounts/finance experience in a car dealership (desirable)
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Kerridge and CDK (rev 8) accounting software would be preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision

Responsibilities

• Assist in the monthly production of accounts
• Paying of invoices
• Monthly ledgers
• Daily reconciliation/banking
