Description

Dealership Accountant required to produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts and balance sheets for your area of responsibility. Monitor the financial performance of each department, advise senior managers of variances, and produce detailed analyses when necessary. Assist in ensuring all financial transactions are accurate and up to date. Report and distribute weekly vehicle-related debts and monitor collections. Prepare annual business plans in conjunction with management, liaise with auditors and statutory representatives, and support the General Managers with ad hoc tasks.

Requirements include previous retail automotive accounts experience and an excellent understanding of accounting processes. The candidate must have a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently to deliver results on time. Excellent numeracy, database, advanced Excel skills, Kerridge, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build strong relationships with on-site managers.

This assignment is for approximately 18 months and could become permanent for the right candidate. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS MOTOR RETAIL EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
