Job summary

NineTech in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced DDI Engineer for a 6-month contract. This fully remote role focuses on delivering hands-on DDI, DNS and IPAM expertise across an enterprise infrastructure project.

Responsibilities include supporting and troubleshooting DNS, DHCP and IPAM services, administering Infoblox or equivalent platforms, and contributing to automation using Ansible and Python.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with DDI technologies covering DNS, DHCP and IPAM.
• DNS experience with Infoblox desirable but not essential.
• Network engineering background with routing and switching basics.
• Experience supporting, managing and troubleshooting enterprise DDI infrastructure.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced DDI Engineer for an initial 6-month contract, working fully remotely on an enterprise infrastructure project. The role requires strong hands-on DDI and DNS expertise, with a network engineering background and automation skills desirable.

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with DDI technologies, covering DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM).
• Solid DNS experience, with Infoblox experience desirable but not essential.
• Network engineering background with a good understanding of basic routing and switching.
• Practical experience supporting, managing and troubleshooting enterprise DDI infrastructure.
• Automation experience using Ansible, Python or similar tools is advantageous.
