About the job you’re consideringAs a Datacentre, Infrastructure & Networks Solution Manager / Architect (Pre-Sales), you will be responsible for designing and articulating on-premise infrastructure as well as private and hybrid cloud infrastructure and networking solutions that address client needs while optimising for cost-effectiveness and competitiveness. You will apply your expertise in architecture and solution development, along with strong storytelling, presentation, and business communication skills, to create compelling and client-focused proposals.In this role, you will collaborate as part of cross-functional solution teams to develop cost effective and deliverable solutions from concept through to implementation, supporting both Managed Service (Transition and Run) and Project (Transformation) requirements.Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.Your roleDesign with purpose: Create secure, scalable, and future-ready infrastructure and networking solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.Stay ahead: Maintain deep knowledge of infrastructure technologies—compute, storage, networking, and virtualisation—and how they can be applied creatively to achieve client outcomes.Engage and inspire: Build trusted relationships with clients, listen actively to their challenges, and clearly communicate how your solutions bring value.Craft compelling proposals: Contribute to high-quality bids with clear technical documentation, architecture visuals, and cost models that reflect both innovation and practicality.Champion compliance: Ensure all solutions meet UK government regulations and security standards, including GDPR and NCSC guidelines.Collaborate across teams: Work closely with sales, delivery, and engineering colleagues to ensure smooth transitions from design to implementation.You can bring your whole self to work.
