Job summary

Capgemini UK is seeking a Change Manager to apply a predictive mindset to change and prevent disruptions. You will own service delivery during shifts, drive first-time change success, and escalate issues to protect service quality.

In this hybrid role, you will work with the UKCC leadership, coordinate CAB meetings, ensure RFCs are entered correctly, and maintain client/regulatory controls. ITIL experience and ServiceNow knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

  • ITIL certification is preferred and useful for managing changes.
  • Strong knowledge of Service Management Framework for IT infrastructure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Self-starter with good judgement and the ability to work with teams.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for change management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drive actions that increase changes implemented correctly on first attempt.
  • Understand and mitigate change implementation risk.
  • Ensure changes are managed within agreed timescales with the requester.
  • Escalate changes damaging service quality.
  • Ensure changes comply with client and regulatory controls.
  • Enter requested changes (RFC) accurately in Change Control System.
  • Organize Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings with timely papers.
  • Review and communicate progress and outcomes of changes to relevant parties.

As Change manager, you will ensure predictive mindset is applied in change to prevent and or mitigate the risk of service disruption. The scope of this role in service management is to ensure management of the Capgemini account function is achieved. You will collaborate with stakeholders and our extensive high-profile client network to forecast future needs, address capacity constraints, and enhance performance through change managementHybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service).Your roleAs an integral part of the UKCC leadership team, you will take ownership of service delivery during your shift and provide clear direction, support and escalation for the team. You will be empowered to:Drive actions that increase the percentage of changes that are implemented correctly first time.Ensure that change implementation risk is understood and mitigated to increase the likelihood of successful implementation at first attempt.Ensure that all changes are managed as planned within the timescales agreed with the change requester.Escalate any changes which are damaging the quality of the service.Ensure all changes comply with client and customer/regulatory controls.Ensure agreed Request for Change (RFC) are entered correctly in the Change Control System.Organize Change Advisory Board Meetings (CAB), ensure agenda and papers are issued to participants in good time.Review, monitor and communicate the progress and outcome of changes to all relevant parties.You can bring your whole self to work.
