Job summary

Airedale by Modine is seeking a DC Systems Commissioning Support Engineer to join the Systems & Lifecycle Management team. This role acts as the key link between commissioning and project managers, ensuring commissioning activities are executed effectively.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC/BMS experience in data centres, strong organisational skills, and the ability to support multiple requirements simultaneously. The role involves site-based work with a focus on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• HVAC, BMS and HVAC controls experience in a data centre environment.
• Strong Airedale product knowledge.
• Organisational and coordination skills.
• Good fault-finding understanding.
• Ability to support multiple jobs and priorities simultaneously.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to communicate with engineers, customers and management.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Medius.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and escalate priorities.

Responsibilities

• Remote support for commissioning engineers, assisting fault finding and troubleshooting.
• Drive and implement health and safety standards through process improvement.
• Produce risk & method statements for site works.
• Engineer audits (Equipment Calibration, PPE, Tooling, Processes).
• Assist with quality and warranty solutions.
• Assist with resourcing of commissioning engineers.
• Develop site visit report templates and SVR processing.
• Support new starters and development of new engineers.
• Collect project-specific information and organize replacement parts deliveries.
• Help the wider team increase efficiency to meet department targets.
