Mercer is seeking a DC Pensions Consultant to join our specialist team in delivering DC pension services to a large portfolio of clients. Mercer boasts one of the largest fully integrated groups of DC experts in the UK, including governance, scheme design, investment consultants, providers, and technical researchers and technicians.

This growth area is a key strategic focus for Mercer’s UK business, providing successful pension and savings solutions for clients and career opportunities for colleagues. Our collaborative culture promotes growth, client retention, and new business development.

Responsibilities include:

1. Attending client meetings to support senior colleagues, including preparing meeting papers and managing follow-up actions.
2. Assisting trustees and sponsors in managing their DC pension arrangements, including corporate sponsors, trustee boards, and governance committees.
3. Serving as a DC governance consultant to promote our services.
4. Supporting lead consultants on large and complex clients.
5. Reviewing work produced by analysts and junior consultants using Mercer software/tools.

Requirements:

• Experience in DC Pensions consulting.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and providers.
• Client relationship management skills.

Preferred:

• Trust-based DC Pensions Consulting experience.
• Project management experience.
