Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' experience within Data Centre HVAC, Critical Cooling, Building Services, or Mission Critical environments.
• Proven leadership experience managing large-scale service and maintenance operations across multiple sites or regions.
• Strong knowledge of critical cooling infrastructure including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, DX systems, air handling units, pumps, BMS controls, and associated mechanical systems.
• Demonstrable experience managing high-value service contracts and delivering against demanding Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Strong understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, asset lifecycle management, and reliability-centred maintenance practices.
• Experience managing operational budgets, financial performance, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Service & Maintenance function for the DC market, ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery across all contracts.
• Develop and implement service strategies to improve performance, customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Ensure planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, emergency callouts, and remedial works are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, process optimisation, and best practice implementation.
• Manage service performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Work with the service partner network to deliver a high quality product.
• Build and extend the service partner network across EMEA to meet expansion demands.
• Hold QBR meetings with key clients to review Airedales performance.
