Job summary

Blue Arrow - Reading is seeking a DBS Chef to cover ongoing shifts in Reading. The role involves food prep, production and delivery of large volumes, and working various shifts from early morning to evening.

You should have at least one year of experience in a similar role, hold or be able to obtain a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate, and be reliable and punctual. DBS certificate is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Must have Food Hygiene Level 2 certification or be able to complete.
• DBS certificate is highly desirable.
• Professional, punctual and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Food prep, production and delivery - large volume.
• Delegating to catering assistants / kitchen porters as required.
• Communicating with the team to ensure smoothness of service.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Meeting all on site health and safety requirements.
• Stock control.
