A new job vacancy has become available with our forward-thinking Wealth Manager based in Glasgow. Due to further growth and increasing demands, they require an additional Paraplanner with a strong knowledge of Defined Benefit Schemes/Pensions Transfers; however, they could consider a senior paraplanner without this expertise.

The company has grown significantly over the past few years and maintains a prestigious reputation within the advice market, particularly in transfers. They are looking to expand their team and are open to part home-based working arrangements.

Working within a close-knit yet diverse environment, you would work closely with the head of department to assist in managing client demands, which involve complex tasks. You will gain excellent exposure, including shadowing industry experts, and are encouraged to undertake further exams and develop towards chartered status if desired.

The role involves gathering relevant scheme information, conducting analysis, and preparing documentation for review by the PTS.

A prerequisite for suitable applicants is experience with Final Salary Transfers, including analysis, report writing, and research. A background within an adviser role is preferred, particularly in paraplanner/support functions. Experience with TVAs and cashflow modelling would be advantageous but not essential. Candidates should ideally hold AF3 or AwPetr qualifications.
