Job Description:

A new job vacancy has become available with our forward-thinking Wealth Manager based in Edinburgh. Due to growth and increasing demands, they require an additional Paraplanner with strong knowledge of Defined Benefit Schemes/Pensions Transfers.

The company has grown significantly over the past few years and has a prestigious reputation within the advice market, especially in transfers. They seek assistance in this team.

You will work within a close-knit yet diverse environment, collaborating closely with the head of department to ensure smooth client service due to the complexity of tasks involved. You will gain excellent exposure, shadowing industry experts, and are encouraged to pursue further exams and develop towards chartered status if desired.

The role involves gathering relevant scheme information, analyzing it, and preparing it for review by the PTS.

Applicants must have Final Salary Transfer experience, including analysis, report writing, and research. A background within an adviser environment in a Paraplanner/support role is preferred. Experience with TVAs and Cashflow modelling is a plus but not essential. Candidates should ideally hold AF3 or AwPetr qualifications.
