Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting for an experienced Weighbridge Administrator in Coventry (CV6). The role involves weighing vehicles, recording weights and driver details, and issuing weighbridge tickets on a Monday to Friday day shift (07:30-16:30).

The position requires accurate data entry and the ability to work independently on a busy site. Candidate should have weighbridge experience and a strong administrative background, with good IT skills and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Previous weighbridge experience is essential.
• Experience in a busy site, waste, recycling, logistics or similar environment.
• Strong administration and data-entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail when recording weights and vehicle information.
• Good computer skills and confidence using databases and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with drivers and site personnel.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Reliable, organised and punctual.
• A professional and approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Operating the site weighbridge and accurately weighing vehicles entering and leaving the site.
• Recording vehicle weights, registration numbers, driver details and materials/load details.
• Processing and issuing weighbridge tickets for incoming and outgoing vehicles.
• Checking driver information matches paperwork and system records.
• Booking vehicles in and out of the site and managing movements.
• Processing delivery and collection documentation.
• Completing waste transfer notes and other site documentation as required.
• Entering accurate information onto the weighbridge system and internal databases.
• Maintaining records of vehicle movements, weights and loads.
• Liaising with drivers and providing instructions on where to go.
