Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency is seeking a Stores Operative for a daytime role in Andover. You will work 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, on a temporary-to-permanent basis with potential to go permanent.

The position offers consistent hours, weekly pay, and free onsite parking. The Stores Operative will pick and pack orders, check deliveries, and maintain stock accuracy in a tidy stores area, using basic manual handling as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or stores environment (preferred, not essential).
• Good attention to detail when checking stock and orders.
• Comfortable with manual handling and moving stock.
• Reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures accurately.
• Basic numeracy skills for stock counts and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately to meet daily targets.
• Receive and check deliveries against paperwork.
• Carry out regular stock checks and inventory updates.
• Store goods safely and in the correct locations.
• Use manual handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised stores area.
