Randstad CPE is seeking a skilled Caretaker for a key site in Redcar. Immediate start with ongoing temporary contract and steady day-shift hours from 08:00 to 16:00.

The role involves opening sites each morning, general maintenance, light repairs, and light搬运 tasks to set up classrooms and halls. Applicants should have a background in facilities management and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management.
• Practical DIY skills (basic joinery & plumbing) and strong physical capability.

Responsibilities

• Site Opening: Daily morning unlock of school grounds and buildings, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Maintenance & Repairs: Hands-on basic DIY tasks, including minor joinery work and light plumbing fixes.
• Logistics: Moving furniture, setting up classrooms/halls, and handling heavy lifting.
