Job summary

Flexzo Teach is seeking daytime Maths and Science tutors to provide targeted interventions in local schools and via our direct booking platform. Tutors set their own schedule, receive direct requests, and deliver quality STEM support to help pupils gain confidence and reach their full potential.

The role requires availability during school hours, strong subject experience, and a valid UK work right with enhanced DBS. You may be asked to travel to Amersham or other operating areas for interviews.

Qualifications

• Availability during school hours (Mon-Fri) for daytime tutoring.
• Strong experience delivering targeted interventions in Maths and Science.
• Experience supporting diverse learning needs, including SEN.
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment frameworks.
• Valid right to work in the UK and Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to commute to Amersham or wider operating areas for initial interview.
• Compassionate communication with learners, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daytime tutoring and interventions for Maths and Science.
• Create tailored lesson plans and track pupil progress.
• Engage with schools and direct booking requests.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and DBS compliance.
