Boston Tea Party in Plymouth is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead one of our kitchens. You’ll own everything in your kitchen—from your people to your standards and numbers—and work closely with the General Manager to deliver a brilliant guest experience.

As a Kitchen Manager you will recruit and coach your team, manage stock and waste with a sharp commercial eye, and ensure meals are prepared to our high standards with daytime hours and no late nights.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a kitchen team.
• Ability to manage stock, labour and waste with a commercial eye.
• Proven commitment to food safety and high kitchen standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a brilliant kitchen team.
• Set the pace during busy services and cook alongside your team.
• Ensure every plate leaving the kitchen is of high quality.
• Recruit great people and develop chefs to take the next step.
• Manage ordering, stock, labour and waste with a strong commercial eye.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and kitchen standards.
• Work with the GM to grow the café and deliver a great guest experience.
• Create a kitchen culture where people feel supported and challenged.
• Take ownership when things dont go to plan and drive improvements.
