Job summary

The North Yorkshire daytime cafe is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the busy kitchen and deliver breakfast, brunch, and lunch with high-quality standards. The role offers daytime shifts from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with evenings free, and a mix of midweek and weekend work to provide variety and balance.

Ideal candidates will have CDP or strong Commis Chef background, a passion for fresh food, and excellent teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress.
• Passion for fresh, quality food and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Food Hygiene certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present fresh, high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
• Manage your designated section and ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation in line with Food Safety and HACCP regulations.
• Ensure food is prepared efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
