Job summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for a weekday, days-only role in Manchester city centre. You will perform routine and reactive maintenance on mechanical/ HVAC plant across five commercial buildings, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with SLAs.

The job emphasizes high service standards and documentation accuracy. The role requires Level 3 Mechanical discipline, BMS familiarity, and experience with PPM tasks, RAMS, and small mechanical

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical discipline.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and maintenance in commercial buildings.
• Mechanical service and repair of HVAC systems.
• Small mechanical installation work (valves, taps, etc).
• Familiarity with RAMS and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and HVAC equipment.
• Operate in line with SFG20 standards and contractual SLAs/KPIs.
• Maintain plant rooms and building services areas with high housekeeping standards.
• Ensure safety regulations and NG Bailey procedures are followed.
• Complete documentation and compliance records accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
