Job summary

Biffa Waste Services is seeking an experienced Dayforce Configuration Specialist to join a defined programme of work delivering improvements across HR, Payroll and Operations. You’ll take a hands-on role configuring Dayforce to meet core HR, Payroll and WFM requirements and help colleagues get the most out of the platform.

Responsibilities

• Dayforce Configuration: Take a hands-on role in the administration and technical configuration of Dayforce across Core HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management (WFM), delivering an agreed programme of work packages.
• Requirements Specification: Partner with stakeholders to review and validate work package requirements, translating business needs into clear functional and technical specifications that can be efficiently developed and deployed.
• Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve existing system issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable configuration improvements that enhance system performance and reduce recurring support demands.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with HR, Payroll, IT, Operations and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, delivery priorities remain aligned and progress is communicated throughout the lifecycle of each change.
