Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a flexible Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary settings in Middlesbrough.

You will work with class teachers providing one-to-one and small group support, helping children build confidence and key skills, while promoting inclusion and safeguarding. This day-to-day, part-time role offers varied placements and training through Milk Academy, with APSCo-compliant safeguarding and a supportive consultant network to guide your journey.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Education or a related subject, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children's learning.
  • Patience, adaptability and a calm approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Recent experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.

Day-to-Day Teaching Assistant - Middlesbrough
