Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking a confident Day Shift Support Worker for Thistle House, a care home with nursing for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will deliver compassionate care across day shifts, supporting individuals to maintain independence and quality of life.

Be prepared for enhanced care responsibilities, PVG checks, and a collaborative team environment with ongoing coaching and development opportunities across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• PVG check required.
• Experience in care or similar role preferred.
• Able to work 42 hours per week in day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs as required.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard residents and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
