Job summary

Cygnet is looking for a confident Care & Support Worker to join Dene Brook, a specialist residential service in Rotherham. You will work 42 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, including alternate weekends, delivering person-centred care and support to people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

You will help with daily activities, safeguarding, community access and activities such as cooking and hobbies, while working in a supportive team with coaching and development

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support roles.
• Excellent communication with colleagues and service users.
• Able to work in a team and adapt to shifts.
• Commitment to person-centred care and safeguarding of vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all service users.
• Offer guidance and emotional support to individuals.
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Support users to access the community and daily activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
