Energis Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Press Brake Operator for a global manufacturing client in Portadown. This permanent, full-time role offers a day shift with an early finish on Fridays and a 39.5 hour week.

The successful candidate will set up and operate press brake machinery, read engineering drawings, perform quality checks and maintain production records. A strong focus on health and safety and timely delivery is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a press brake machine.
• Able to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Focussed on health and safety.
• Able to complete tasks on time.
• Works under supervisor instruction.
• Excellent teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery in line with production requirements.
• Read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions and bending schedules.
• Measure and check components, ensuring they meet specifications and tolerances.
• Carry out quality checks and complete production records.
• Identify any issues with materials or machinery and report to supervisor.
• Ensure all work is completed to required standards and timelines.
