Workchain is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver for daytime, temporary work in Tuxford. You will join a logistics operation responsible for timely delivery and collection across the region.

You must hold a HGV Class 1 licence (C+E), Driver CPC, and a valid tachograph card, with proven experience driving articulated vehicles. The role emphasizes safety, professionalism, and reliable communication with customers and site contacts.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence.
• Current Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Experience driving articulated vehicles.
• Safe, responsible and professional driving approach.
• Good time-management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive an articulated vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Complete deliveries and collections according to schedule.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before and after journeys.
• Secure loads and ensure safe transport of goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and use relevant systems.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and site contacts.
• Follow transport, road safety and company procedures.
