Job summary

CBW is helping place a Day Shift Maintenance Engineer for a landmark commercial office in Canary Wharf, East London. You will join a high-performing, on-site team dedicated to top-tier tenant services and reliable building operations.

The role requires electrical qualifications (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent) and 18th Edition knowledge, with exposure to AHU/FCU systems, UPS, and BMS monitoring. A strong progression path is offered within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Electrically qualified with City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations.
• Experience in commercial/critical environments such as banks or data centres.

Responsibilities

• Electrical systems: lighting installs, fault-finding, lamp replacements, ballasts, control panels, power distribution.
• Mechanical equipment: pumps, motors, seals, bearings, basic HVAC.
• HVAC & plant: AHUs, FCUs, emergency lighting, air conditioning units.
• Monitoring systems: chillers (resets), BMS trends, UPS systems.
• Collaborate with a large onsite engineering team for smooth operations.
• Ensure high standards of tenant service and service delivery.

Day Shift Maintenance Engineer - Client Direct - Commercial Office – Canary Wharf, East London - £50,000

We’re searching for a talented Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing team within a landmark commercial office space. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Electrical Systems: Lighting installs, fault-finding, lamp replacements, ballasts, control panels, power distribution
• Mechanical Equipment: Pumps, motors, seals, bearings, basic HVAC
• HVAC & Plant: AHUs, FCUs, emergency lighting, air conditioning units
• Monitoring Systems: Chillers (resets), BMS (hot/cold trends), UPS systems
• Teamwork: Collaborate with a large, supportive onsite engineering team
• Service Delivery: Ensure smooth building operations and top-tier tenant services

Your Work Pattern:

• 4 days on, 4 days off
• 07:00 – 19:00
