Job summary

TECNIQ in Witham, Essex, is seeking a CNC Setter/Operator to set and run 3- and 5-axis machines for high-end automotive components. You will work on aluminium, steel, plastics and carbon fibre parts, ensuring tight tolerances and quality control against drawings.

The role, Monday to Friday, 6am–2:30pm, offers a 40-hour week with on-site parking and overtime opportunities. Salary up to £31,824 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to set up and operate 3- and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings with accuracy.
• Experience with quality inspection and first article checks.

Responsibilities

• Set 3-axis VMCs with optional 4th/5th axis tooling.
• Quality control using inspection equipment against drawings.
• Set and run low-volume production and prototype parts.
• Provide feedback to programmers on new or existing programs.
