Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council in Cheltenham is seeking a Day Service Coordinator to support adults with learning disabilities at Oakley and the Woodlands Day Centres. You will help people lead fulfilling, dignified lives and develop care plans to promote independence.

You will work with families and professionals, encouraging engagement in activities and monitoring personal care and daily needs, with full training and support provided.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification.
• Hands-on experience working with people who have physical, mental health or behavioural needs.

Responsibilities

• Help people to lead fulfilling, dignified lives.
• Develop care plans and risk assessments to support personal care and day-to-day needs.
• Work with parents, carers and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
