Day Nursery Manager in Edenbridge Kent

• Salary: GBP33K - GBP38K per annum (DOE)
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 6:00PM

Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Day Nursery Manager to oversee our client's Nursery based in Edenbridge Kent on a full time, permanent basis.

Day Nursery Manager Responsibilities

• Assist in managing, mentoring, and supporting nursery staff. Ensure staff adhere to nursery policies and maintain a high standard of practice.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver an engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Tailor activities to meet individual children s needs and promote their development.
• Oversee the implementation of safeguarding procedures, health, and safety standards to ensure a safe and secure environment for both children and staff.
• Help with managing daily operations, including finances, regulatory compliance, record-keeping, and assisting with inspections.
• Build strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed of their child s progress and involving them in the nursery s activities.

As the Day Nursery Manager, we are looking for someone who has:

• Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• 3 years experience in Childcare
• First Aid trained
