Job summary

A leading and well-established company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team on a static site in South London. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in building services and electrical maintenance who is looking for a stable, long-term position with a large organisation.

The Role

As the Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a large commercial site, ensuring all systems and equipment remain safe, compliant and fully operational.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Fault finding and electrical repairs
• Maintaining electrical building services systems
• Carrying out inspections, testing and remedial works
• Responding to breakdowns and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently
• Completing maintenance records and relevant documentation
• Working safely and in accordance with company procedures
• Liaising with contractors, clients and other members of the engineering team

Requirements

• Level 3 Electrical qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Previous experience working as an Electrical Engineer
• Strong building services experience
• Previous maintenance experience, ideally within a commercial environment
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• A strong understanding of electrical systems and building services
• Good communication skills and a professional approach
