Job summary

Pharmacyupdate is seeking two Support Workers to assist at the Lisburn Assessment and Resource Centre, part of the South Eastern Trust, in Lisburn. You will help adults maintain daily living skills in a supportive day-centre setting, with duties including personal care, meals, and engaging in activities.

Hours are 9.00am-3.00pm or 9.30-3.30pm, Monday to Friday. The role offers paid holidays, ongoing training, and opportunities to work in the public sector. Equality of opportunity is promoted.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Willing to undergo an enhanced Access NI check.
• NISCC registration or willingness to apply is required.

Job description

Two Support Workers are required to start immediately to work alongside our client at the Lisburn Assessment and Resource Centre, part of the South Eastern Trust, based in Lisburn.

This is a rewarding role supporting adults to maintain daily living skills and promote independence within a supportive day centre environment.

Key Duties include:

• Supporting service users while attending planned day trips


• Engaging in activities and group work with service users


• Providing personal care


• Assisting service users with the consumption of meals


• Working hours: 9.00am-3.00pm or 9.30-3.30pm, Monday to Friday


• Pay rate: £12.75 per hour

What We Need From You:

• Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access NI check


• Experience working within the healthcare sector


• To be NISCC registered, or willing to apply
