Job summary

Circle Reading Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Day Case unit on a bank basis. This flexible role supports busy periods and covers annual leave or absence, delivering safe, evidence-based nursing care to day-case patients.

You will be registered with the NMC (Adult) and experienced in clinical governance and patient safety, with strong communication and IT skills to document care plans and monitor patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
• Good understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans.
• Assess patient needs, prioritise care and update care plans.
• Monitor vital signs and escalate changes using clinical judgement.
• Administer medications safely following hospital policies and NMC Code.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and observations.
• Ensure compliance with NMC standards and hospital policies.
• Identify and report incidents and safeguarding concerns.
