Job summary

KYN BICKLEY is seeking a caring and compassionate Carer to join our day-time team on a permanent basis at KYN Bickley. You will support residents with personal care, dignity and wellbeing, under the supervision of the Nurse and Household Care Lead.

The role offers an hourly rate of £13.11 for a 40.15-hour week, with benefits including 28 days leave, meals during shifts, and a supportive induction. You will be a brand ambassador for KYN values.

Qualifications

• Patient with tact and diplomacy in difficult situations
• Effective team player who builds professional, trusting relationships
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem anticipation
• Ability to resolve complaints and manage incidents compassionately

Responsibilities

• Support Nurse and Household Care Lead in delivering person-centred care
• Assist with personal care, washing, dressing and continence where needed
• Undertake minor medical duties (oral care, skin care, catheter care, end-of-life care)
• Ensure privacy, dignity and respect for residents at all times
• Create a nurturing environment where residents and families feel safe and supported
• Act as a brand ambassador demonstrating KYN values
