Job summary

NHS Highland is inviting applications for a Day Care Organiser at Aird Ferry Day Care Service to support the daily operation and ensure safe, person-centred care for older adults. You will work with care staff to deliver activities, assist with care planning and liaise with families and professionals.

The role requires compassion, strong organisational skills and a full UK driving licence; driving duties including minibus travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with older adults or within a health or social care setting.
• Strong organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work with empathy, patience and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operation of the day care service.
• Support and work alongside care staff in delivering activities and care.
• Contribute to care planning, reviews and risk assessments.
• Liaise with service users, families, carers and professionals.
• Ensure standards are maintained in line with NHS Highland policies and Care Inspectorate requirements.
• Support the smooth running of transport, meals and activities.
