Job summary

Roseberry Care is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant for Church View in Bishop Auckland. You will support residents with daily activities and personal care, helping to promote independence and well-being in a warm, community-focused home.

The role requires excellent communication, empathy and teamwork. Aged care experience is valued, with a 38.5 hour week and various day shifts; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Ideally have an NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care.
• A minimum of 1 year’s experience in Care (not essential).
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting and continence care.
• Help with mobility and transfers.
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you will support our residents in their day to day lives including providing personal care, social activities, and meals times to promote independence and maximise their quality of life.
