Job description

We are looking for a Database Software Test Analyst to join the Frontier team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a fully home-based role, with occasional travel to other sites as needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases across various applications. You will collaborate with the Test team to increase test coverage within Agile deliveries and assist with the creation of Regression test cases. You will report progress to the Delivery Lead and the Software Test Manager.

About You

• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation certification (minimum requirement)
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent (desired but not essential)
• 5+ years experience in software testing
• 5+ years experience in database testing
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with JIRA required
• Zephyr experience desirable
• Experience with Agile delivery required
• SQL knowledge desirable
• API experience beneficial
• Experience with Postman advantageous
• Quick learner of new systems

Your Role

• Review business software requirements and provide feedback
• Create test cases and supporting data for multiple applications
• Support application integration with data creation
• Execute test cases, raise defects with detailed information
• Analyze test results and prepare reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers for knowledge transfer
• Work independently and within a delivery team
• Assist and report to the Test Manager
