Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to support and optimise our Microsoft SQL environment across on-premise and cloud platforms. You will manage and maintain SQL Server environments, while contributing to security, access management, patching, backup and recovery processes.

You will deliver database improvements, upgrades and migrations, and support high availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Qualifications

• MS SQL Server DBA experience in a complex enterprise environment.
• Strong SQL scripting and PowerShell skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL service management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments


• Support database security, access management, patching, backup and recovery processes

• Participate in on-call support and major incident management
  Strong experience as a MS SQL Server DBA in a complex enterprise environment


• Expertise in performance tuning, backup/recovery, security, HA/DR and Azure SQL


• Knowledge of SQL scripting, PowerShell and database administration best practices


• Experience working within ITIL service management environments
