Job summary

Omnicom Media in London seeks a Data Visualisation & Governance Director to lead the technical delivery of data visualisation and taxonomy projects. You will work with clients to understand data needs, design scalable solutions and ensure accurate data and governance outputs.

Collaboration with the EMEA DMV hub and other agency partners is essential. You will manage dashboards and reporting, drive tool adoption, and support AI initiatives while maintaining QA processes and documentation.

Qualifications

Proficiency in stakeholder management across external (client) and internal (agency) stakeholders.
Ability to bridge the gap between non-technical stakeholders and data-specialists.
Expert level understanding of media data and typical media data systems.
Experience of leading end to end reporting and BI solution builds (PowerBI).
High awareness of industry tools and systems used to organise and manage taxonomies, media data etc.

Responsibilities

Be the key point of contact for the client on data governance and BI projects, understanding data needs and creating robust solutions.
Communicate with stakeholders and clients to understand analytics, reporting and data requirements.
Design and define new data solution requirements, ensuring they are practical, scalable and aligned to client needs.
Lead the design, build and ongoing maintenance of data visualisation solutions, ensuring dashboards and reporting outputs are clear and accurate.
Support client-side data solutions, ensuring the accurate flow of data from source through to output.
Drive discovery and adoption of analytics, measurement and reporting tools.
Support AI-enabled initiatives where relevant to client and agency priorities.
Challenge existing ways of working and identify opportunities to improve delivery of analytics and data services.
Drive efficiencies in analytics via standardisation, automation and better processes.
Refine agency data processes across client accounts to improve efficiency while delivering accurate data outcomes.
Ensure QA processes are designed and followed for project success.
Implement governance and project management to ensure best practices and high-quality outputs.
Maintain data process documentation and conduct training for Data Specialists and Media Specialists.
Collaborate with media specialists and ad operations to ensure governance and taxonomies alignment.
