Silverdrum in London is seeking a Director to lead data governance and visualisation strategies across a major multinational client, combining strategic oversight with hands-off data delivery governance.

You will bridge senior stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring scalable, accurate data solutions, quality governance and value delivery across markets, with a hybrid London-based work pattern.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data governance/BI programs in media or consultancy.
• Strong stakeholder management with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience translating business requirements into data and reporting solutions.
• Leadership experience managing direct reports and offshore teams.
• Knowledge of taxonomy, governance frameworks and data quality processes.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau or similar tools.
• Understanding of media data, reporting infrastructure and analytics environments.
• Experience with SQL, Python or APIs is advantageous.

Director - Data Management & Visualisation London | Hybrid (3 days per week) | Up to £75,000 + benefits

This is a high-profile Director opportunity within one of the world's leading media agencies, leading data governance and visualisation across a complex EMEA client. Rather than being hands‑on in dashboards every day, you will be the strategic bridge between senior stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring data solutions are scalable, accurate and commercially valuable.

The role

Skills & experience

• Proven experience leading data governance, BI or data management programmes within a media agency (ideally) consultancy or digital environment
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to communicate confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience translating business requirements into data and reporting solutions
• Previous leadership experience managing both direct reports and offshore or distributed teams
• Knowledge of taxonomy management, governance frameworks and data quality processes
• Experience with Power BI or similar visualisation platforms (Tableau etc.)
• Understanding of media data, reporting infrastructure and analytics environments
• Exposure to SQL, Python or APIs would be advantageous but isn't the core focus of the role
