Job summary

Moody's is seeking a seasoned valuation professional to lead the analysis needed to determine the relative value of data within blended products. You will collaborate across many functions to ensure rigorous, evidence-based conclusions.

The role requires 7+ years in valuation or related fields, strong analytical and modeling skills, and experience with data licensing, royalties, and pricing. You will prepare valuation memoranda and defend recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of valuation, financial analysis or related experience.
• Experience with data licensing, royalties, transfer pricing, or pricing of data products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis to determine, document, communicate, implement, and maintain the relative value of data from multiple sources within blended products.
• Define the valuation scope including product use cases, customers, pricing, and contractual context.
• Build a fact base by identifying source content, coverage, quality, timeliness, and usage rights.
• Assess each datasets contribution to product functionality, revenue potential, and market value.
• Develop defensible recommendations with evidence-based conclusions and memory memos.
• Present and defend recommendations to stakeholders and support governance, risk, and legal teams.
