Job summary
ZEISS Vision Care UK&I in Birmingham seeks a Data and Technology Manager to lead the technology portfolio across workplace, infrastructure, applications and data. You will shape the strategy, roadmap and service delivery while guiding a team of seven with four direct reports, and align technology with business priorities.
You will partner with Corporate IT and external vendors to drive data governance, security and continuous improvement, ensuring resilience and cost-effectiveness across
Qualifications
- Experience leading IT service delivery in a complex business environment.
- Strong people leadership including coaching, development and performance management.
- Knowledge of ITIL-aligned service management (demand, change, incident, problem).
- Experience with enterprise applications, data platforms and technology architecture.
- Familiarity with SAP, SAP BW or Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Lead the UK&I technology strategy, demand pipeline and roadmap across key platforms including SAP, SAP BW and Salesforce.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders to translate business priorities into tech requirements.
- Manage and mentor the UK&I service delivery team (4 direct reports, 3 others).
- Drive data strategy, governance and quality to enable trusted information.
- Oversee service performance, governance, risk, information security and change management.
- Govern technology suppliers, SLAs and budgets, ensuring value and compliance.
